Cross Cultural Chairs
A book dedicated to how people sit and are seated. This anthropology of chair design is conceived by Sicilian designer Matteo Guarnaccia who describes the project as "an exploration that lies between social and technical aspects of chairs." The book looks at chairs from eight cultures in the most populated countries, diversifying the supposedly mundane parts of chair-culture and chair design to open a conversation about identity, community and expression through chairs.
